Ishigaki Triathlon 2017 opens Triathlon season in Japan on Sunday, 16 April. It was the first 2017 JTU Age Group Triathlon Ranking event out of 25. Hirotsugu Kuwarhara in men's 35-39, and Kana Matsumoto in Women's 40-44, won gold in overall.
948 athletes participated in standard distance and relay class in hot condition, air temperature 28℃ with 90% humidity.
