World Triathlon Cup Miyazaki (March 2022) Cancelled

World Triathlon made the decision to cancel the first of the World Triathlon Cup Series, which was scheduled to be held in Miyazaki on March 12-13, 2022.

This is due to the fact that the Japanese Government has strengthened border control in relation to COVID-19 and the process for entering Japan including visa application for athletes, officials and staffs arriving from over 30 different countries is unlikely to be determined by the deadline set by the World Triathlon (45 days before the event which is the end of January).

World Triathlon Championship Series Yokohama (May 2022), World Triathlon Cup Osaka (May 2022) and World Triathlon Cup Miyazaki (October 2022) are scheduled to take place as planned.
