At the moment, I am honestly filled with happiness and gratitude.
This will be my first time to participate in this Olympic Games. As I am selected as a National Team member, I want to prepare well and use what I have done so far into the race, and I will compete as a challenger without fear. I also would like to show my performance to those who supports me. Thank you for your support!

Biography

Niina Kishimoto has been swimming since she was a child, and was introduced to triathlon by a friend in elementary school. In junior high and high school, she experienced various sports such as track and field and Volleyball.
After enrolling in the Nippon Sport Science University, she joined the University’s Triathlon Team and began competing. She won four consecutive intercollegiate team titles and placing third individually.
She has been a member of the Fukui Sport Association since 2018, and trains at the Inage International Triathlon Club in Chiba, Japan.
