Mami Tani and Wakako Tsuchida spark in the World Paratriathlon Series Yokohama
2017 ITU World Paratriathlon Series is held in the venue of Yamashita park in Yokohama today. Mami Tani competed in PTS4 category in Yokoma for the first time since 2013. She wins two gold medals in two weeks after the 2017 Subic Bay ASTC Paratriathlon Asian Championships. She has competed on the long jump, athletics, in Paralympic three times. She has officialy transfered her career as Paratriathlete and aims to get a slot for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.
Wakako Tsuchida starts her season with a win in the women’s PTHC category at the 2017 ASTC Paratriathlon Asian Championships two weeks ago, and she earns another gold medal in Yokohama which is her first world class paratriathlon race on Saturday, 13th May.
