ITU競技規則改定に伴うパラトライアスロン新クラス分けについて(案内)
2016年12月ITU理事会(スペイン・マドリード)にて競技ルール改定に伴い、 パラトライアスロンのクラシフィケーションも改定されました。下記に主要な部分を示してあります。その他の詳細は以下URLをご参照ください。

【1】主な変更点
1)今回のパラトライアスロンクラス分けの改定に伴い、ITU主催レースに出場する全選手が、改めてクラス分けを受けなくてはならない。これまでのITUポイントに関しては、リサーチグループにより確立されたファクターシステムをもとに移行される。
2)PTWCに2つのサブクラスが設定され、タイムファクターシステムが適応される。いずれもパーソナルハンドラーは1名まで認めらる。

17. PARATRIATHLON: パラトライアスロン
17.1. General: 概要
a.) Paratriathlon, as per the ITU Constitution, is governed by the ITU Competition Rules. This section contains the rules which affect only paratriathlon.
パラトライアスロンは、ITU憲章に定めるとおり、ITU競技ルールに則って運営される。本章はパラトライアスロンにだけに適用されるルールを記載する。
17.2. Paratriathlon Sport Classes (categories): パラトライアスロン競技クラス(カテゴリー)
a.) ITU Paratriathlon has implemented an evidence-based classification system to group impairments into sport classes according to the extent of activity limitation they cause the athlete when performing in the sport of paratriathlon.
ITUパラトライアスロン競技では、パラトライアスロン競技遂行上、選手の活動が制限される程度に応じて機能的障害をグループ化し、科学的根拠に基づいたクラシフィケーションシステムを施行する。
b.) There are six sport classes, as defined in Appendix G:
6つのカテゴリーは附則 G にも定義するように次のとおりである。
(i) PTWC: Wheelchair users. Athletes must use a recumbent handcycle on the bike
course and a racing wheelchair on the run segment. There are two sub-classes, H1
(most impaired) and H2 (least impaired);
PTWC – 車いすの利用者。選手はバイクコースではリカンベントタイプのハン
ドサイクルを、ランパートでは競技用車いすの利用が義務付けられる。
2つのサブクラスを設ける。H1(障がいが重い) and H2 (障がいが軽い);
(ii) PTS2: Severe impairments. In both bike and run segments, amputee athletes may
use approved prosthesis or other supportivedevices;
PTS2 – 歩行(かなり重度)の障害のある選手。バイクパートおよびランパートでは、肢切断
選手は承認済みの義肢やその他の装具の使用が許可される。
(iii) PTS3: Significant impairments. In both bike and run segments, the athlete may use approved prosthesis or other supportive devices;
PTS3 – 重要の障害のある選手。バイクパートおよびランパートでは、選手は承認済みの義肢やその他の装具の使用が許可される。
(iv) PTS4: Moderate impairments. In both bike and run segments, the athlete may use approved prosthesis or other supportive devices;
PTS4 – 中度の障害のある選手。バイクパートおよびランパートでは、選手は
承認済みの義肢やその他の装具の使用が許可される。
(v) PTS5: Mild Impairments. In both bike and run segments, the athlete may use
approved prosthesis or other supportive devices;
PTS5 – 軽度の障害のある選手。バイクパートおよびランパートでは、選手は
承認済みの義肢やその他の装具の使用が許可される。
(i) PTVI:: Total or Partial visual Impairment (IBSA/IPC defined sub-classes B1, B2, and B3): Includes athletes who are totally blind, from no light perception in either eye, to some light perception (B1) and partially sighted athletes (B2-B3). One guide is
mandatory throughout the race. Must ride a tandem during the bike segment.
PTVI: – 完全あるいは部分的な視覚障害(IBSA/IPC の B1, B2, B3 クラス相当)。
どちらの目もともに光の知覚がまったくできない選手から、光をある程度知覚できたり(B1)、部分的に見ることができたりする(B2−B3)選手を含む。ガイド 1 名がレース全体を通じて伴走しなければならない。バイクパートではタンデムバイクを使用しなくてはならない。
17.4. Eligible classes and Race formats:(カテゴリー毎の参加資格とレースフォーマット)
f.) In classes include sub-classes, the athletes may compete either starting together, or using the staggered start called ‘‘Interval Start System’’
クラスにサブクラスを含まれている場合、選手は一斉スタートするか、「インターバルスタートシステム」と呼ばれる時間を少しずらし たスタートを採用する。
(i) In races where all sub-classes start together, the relevant compensation time will be added to the finaltimes ofthe athletes competing in the sub-classes as follows:
すべてのサブカテゴリーが一斉スタートするレースの場合、それ相応の補正時間が最終タイムに加算される。その補正時間は下記のとおり。

b) B2: Visual acuity ranging from LogMAR 1.50 to 2.60 (inclusive) and/or visual field
constricted to a diameter of less than 10 degrees;
B2:視力が0.03以下か、ないし視野5度
c) B3: Visual acuity ranging from LogMAR 1.40 to 1 (inclusive) and/or visual field
constricted to a diameter of less than 40 degrees.
B3:視力0.1まで。ないし視野20度
